Description
TOILET CLIP FOR A TOILET BOWL CLEANER This invention relates to a flexible
toilet clip, by which is meant a manual device which may be attached to the upper rim of a toilet bowl, in order that the paperboard sheath of a toilet bowl cleaning head, as described in Patent Application No. GB9711287.4 may be placed against the semi-sharp edge thereon and removed, so that it drops back into the toilet bowl where it is flushed away. Patent Application No. GB9711287.4 relates to a toilet bowl cleaner whereby a paperboard sheath is wrapped around with tissue paper or other absorbent material. In order that the complete mop h.ead can be easily removed from the toilet wand without being physically touched, it is necessary to place the sheath against a reasonably sharp edge at the upper rim of the toilet bowl where it may be scraped off. Although the majority of U.K. toilet designs do have such a rim, there are some which do not, and it is to enable the users of such toilets to be able to benefit on an equal basis, that the toilet clip has been invented. Accordingly, the present invention provides a toilet bowl clip for a toilet bowl cleaner which is as claimed in the appended claims.
The present invention will now be described by way of example, with reference to the accompanying drawings of which:
Figure 1 shows a toilet bowl with a flexible toilet bowl clip 2in situ on the left hand side. This may be made out of metal, plastic or any other suitable material.
Figure 2 shows a toilet bowl clip which may be hooked over the side of a toilet bowl. The smooth surface 3 extends vertically downwards into the toilet bowl ending in a semi-sharp edge 4.
By manipulating the clip, the hook 5 may be engaged under the existing toilet bowl rim, thus causing the clip to become fixed in place. A cleaning head for a toilet mop may thereafter be placed against the edge 4 and drawn upwards, thus permitting the mop head to fall back into the toilet where it will be flushed away.
Claims (2)
- CLAIMS 1. A flexible toilet clip for a toilet bowl cleaner which may beattached to the upper rim of a toilet bowl, which has a semi-sharp edge extending downwards into the toilet bowl and a hook which may be engaged under the toilet bowl rim causing the clip to become fixed in place.
- 2. A flexible toilet clip for a toilet bowl cleaner substantially as described herein with reference to figures 1 - 2 of the accompanying drawing.
