Sleeves and legs; skirts.-To facilitate lengthening a garment, a tuck is formed with a reserve portion of material and provided with a series of lines 19 of stitching or of readily releaseable fastenings for successively letting down the doubled portion of the garment. The construction may be masked by the cuff portion of sleeves or legs or by a corresponding part at the waist of a skirt.
