Abstract

A roof assembly for a hipped roof comprises a ridge beam, a ridge end member (14) connected to one end of the ridge beam and glazing bars (26) connected to the ridge end member via connectors (28), the ridge end member comprising a generally semi-circular plate and having a rim (22) onto which the connectors are attached, the glazing bars being of generally inverted T-section having a base and stem, the base forming channels either side of the stem, characterised by a channel on the top surface of each of the connectors, leading from the connector itself to the base of the glazing bar attached to said connector, to form a continuous passage.
