Lids and covers.-In a vessel of the kind provided with strainer apertures in the lid and a pivoted part provided with slots which may register therewith, the lid is secured to the vessel by a bayonet catch and a lug j provided on the pivoted part is adapted to take into a slot m in the edge of the vessel, the parts being so arranged that movement of the pins n into the horizontal parts of the bayonet slots o has the effect of opening the apertures in the lid.
