Abstract

A liquid transfer system comprises a tank unit (1) and a bottle unit (2). Each unit is formed with a central air passage normally closed by valves (19, 21, 56, 72). A coupling mechanism (4, 5) is provided on the tank unit for receiving the bottle unit and on rotation of handle (5) on the bottle, unit (2) is drawn into the tank unit, thereby opening the valves to open the air and liquid passages.
