Abstract

A load transferring device (10) for a vehicle (11) having a support beam (15) on which is mounted a jib assembly (43) and optionally a stabiliser leg assembly (32). The support beam (15) may be extended laterally of the vehicle (11) to position the jib assembly (43) to the side of the vehicle (11) so that the jib assembly (43) is in a more advantageous position for lifting.
