Machine details.-In friction ratchet clutches comprising skewed rollers interposed between two concentric conoidal members, the conodial surfaces are generated on rotating blanks by a rr,illing-cut.ter of the same diameter as the rollers and set with its axis at the same obliquity. The tool is rotated in the opposite direction to the blank, is traversed along its axis, and is fed into the blank at each revolution thereof.
