Abstract

A dielectric resonator is provided. The dielectric resonator includes a rod having first and second ends and an exterior surface that extends between the first and second ends. The resonator also includes a base, coupled to the first end of the rod, the base being adapted to attach to an interior surface of a housing. The rod and the base comprise a dielectric material.
