Abstract
A web reporting process comprises a method which converts web pages to reporting pages and updates them in real-time. The method allows an upload of a HTML page, which is then converted into a reporting tool. The method allows the HTML to be sent to users and the reporting tool displays the data from all transactions. The invention allows the transactions/activity on a web page to be shown directly on the web page. The method is implemented using a program. The reporting process may have an interface to guide users through the process of testing, mailing and reporting. The usage activity may be shown by numbers, colours or a combination of both.

INTELLIGENT WEB REPORTING PROCESS [Technical field] This invention relates to a Real Time intelligent web reporting
Process.
[Background] WebPages are widely used for a number of reasons ranging from marketing to conveying information on the Internet. They are made up of a combination of programming languages, all held together in HTML. Basic activity on the WebPages can be monitored (e. g. Hits), with some tools on the market.
All reporting products to date have reported activity historically and consist of either textual reports or standard numerical graphs like bar charts, pie charts and line graphs.
[Essential Technical Features
According to the present invention there is provided an intelligent web reporting Process, comprising of a program, which converts WebPages to reporting pages and updates them in real-time. The intelligent web reporting Process, consists of a method which: allows the upload of a HTML page, which is then converted into a reporting tool, where the HTML page can be sent to users, and the reporting tool will display the data from all transactions.
The Reporting tool has the following features:
1. The page has all the visual characteristics of the original web page
2. Reporting when the pages have been displayed.
3. Reporting links selected
4. Passing Customer details
5. Reporting information via a visual screen.
6. Passes survey information
7. Updating in Real Time [Example] The invention (process) shall now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying images:

Figure 1. Shows the"Log-in"to the application with user specific ID and password.
Figure 2. Shows the process to Create a new campaign page: (Requires an upload of a HTML page to the system) Figure 3. Illustrates how attributes are given to a new or existing campaign, before it is sent out as a test.
Figure 4. Illustrates how the chosen campaign would be sent out"live".
Figure 5. Gives an example of how the data received and recorded from the campaign is displayed, on selection of an option from the reporting menu.
Figure 6. Shows a visual representation with the aid of colours and numbers, the number of times links are selected from the campaign.
Figure 7. Shows an enlarged section of reporting page in

Claims (3)
- CLAIMS 1.
- 2. An intelligent web reporting Process as claimed in Claim 1, where an interface is provided to guide the user through the process of testing, mailing, and reporting.
- 3. An intelligent web reporting Process as claimed in Claim 2, where an interface is provided for the real time reporting process to represent the visual characteristics of the original HTML, including activity usage counters as numbers, colours or a combination of both.
