Abstract

A neck warmer that covers the neck of the wearer with the collar of the garment and partially covers the top part of the chest and back of the wearer. It is worn over or under a shirt and under a jumper, coat, jacket or mack to warm the wearer. The collar of the neck warmer may be sewn, buttoned, zipped or velcroed (R.T.M.) and may be made from wool, cotton, silk, cashmere or man-made fibres.

Neck Warmer The invention relates to a snugly fitting item of clothing that fully covers the neck and partially covers the top half of the chest and back.

Unlike Polo Necks this item doesn't have arms or shoulders and just covers the neck and top part of the chest and back.

It is worn under or over a shirt, under a coat, jacket, round or V. necked jersey, or a mack, as both a fashionable and warming item of clothing.

It can be swiftly pulled off without disturbing any other clothes, and placed conveniently in a pocket, or carried in a handbag or briefcase.

It has the advantage over a scarf as it can be kept on indoors, if required.

Another advantage over a polo neck is that it is not as expensive to replace and because it does not have arms it absorbs far less body odour.

1. Claims 1. A neck warmer that is a snugly fitting item of clothing which fully covers the neck and partially covers the top half of the chest and back.

4. 4. An item of clothing as in claim 1, 2 & 3 made from wool, cotton, silk, cashmere or man-made fibres.
