Abstract
Chemically treated toilet tissue is used to detect the presence of fecal occult blood.
Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>
DESCRIPTION Detection of occult blood due to (1) Reaction to drugs i. e. blood thinning agents (2) Reaction to adverse irritation due to oral ingestion of N. S. A. I.
(3) Bleeding due to bowel cancer occult Standard size roll or could be flat pack with cellophane separation sheets.
Claims (1)
- CLAIMS This is a new and innovative way of detecting occult blood from lower bowel.This new concept will identify serious breakdown problems at an earlier stage than present available.This concept will enable targeting of problems and metaphorically nip the condition in the bud.Detection roll would be aimed at middle aged to elderly adults.Restricted to sale by pharmacies who could reassure or direct patients to their ow DR.Bowel cancer is a serious progressive condition but can be cured by selective surgery.Occult blood detection roll will detect life threatening disorders where occult faecal blood is presenting symptom.
