Abstract

A dual reamer for plumbing purposes, that will deburr pipe burrs both internally and externally. The tool may deburr copper or plastic pipes, and will be made of a material stronger than copper, e.g. high carbon or cast steel. In the illustrated embodiment, the tool takes the form of a thick walled conical shell with both the internal and external walls comprising a grinding surface.

DUAL REAMER The invention relates to a plumbing tool which is described as a reaming tool for deburring copper or plastic pipe.
This will eliminate the need for a flat file and round file for debunking pipe internally and externally.
The object of this invention is to speed up the process of deburring pipework.
A reamer which not only deburrs the internal pipe wall but also the external pipe wall.
A hand held tool made from high carbon, cast steel, or a relative material that is harder than copper.
A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompnaying drawing in which : Fig. 1 shows a side view of the tool; Fig. 2 shows an overhead view of the tool, from an internal perspective; Fig. 3 shows an underneath view of the external perspective.

Claims (5)

1. A hand held dual reamer made from high carbon, cast steel, I or relative material, stronger than copper, which will deburr copper or plastic pipe, both internally and externally.
2. A dual reamer substantially as herein described and illustrated in accompanying drawings.

Amendments to the claims have been filed as follows Claims 1. A hand held dual reamer that will deburr pipe burrs both internally and externally, the
reamer is constructed from a single piece of a material that is harder than copper, and takes c the form of a hollow, walled shell with both internal and external walls comprising a grinding surface.
2. A dual reamer according to claim 1, wherein the hollow, walled shell is conical.
3. A dual reamer according to claim 1, wherein the reamer is constructed from high carbon, cast steel.
4. A dual reamer according to claim 1, wherein the reamer will deburr copper or plastic pipes.
5. A dual reamer substantially as herein described and illustrated in the accompanying
drawings.
