Abstract

A process for producing bio-mechanically pulped fibre crop comprising maintaining the fibre crop under anaerobic conditions so as to allow ensuing thereof, and subjecting the ensiled material to mechanical impacting so as to bio-mechanically pulp the material. The fibre crop is generally hemp.
