Abstract

A hood for covering the rectangular top and four sides of a stack of goods on a pallet is totally sealed along its edges except for down a vertical edge seam at one corner which can be opened and closed by means of Velcro (RTM) fastening. The hood may be made in two sizes to suit a EURO pallet and a 2 metre X 2 metre pallet.

Request for grant of patent patents form 1/77 9. Description The Pallet Jacket The Pallet Jacket is a specially manufactured tarpullin used to cover stacks of palletised goods where they are left open to the elements.
The jacket is produced in two sizes to suit a conventional EURO pallet and the 2 metre X 2 metre pallet and is totally sealed along all four edges at the top and entirely down three edges down its
side, the forth edge has a convenient Vetcro/fasening. This allows the jacket to be slipped over the side, the forth edge has a convenient VE rcoit stack like a sock and then fastened down one edge to ensure a good seal to keep the goods inside completely dry.
