Abstract
A moulded resonator 1 for a banjo having a smoothly curved, convex outer shape. The resonator 1 is moulded from glass-fibre and attaches to the resonator flange by means of four fixing bolts. The resonator 1 can be decorated by painting or covered in leather cloth. Since there are no sharp edges to the outer surface of the resonator, its use provides the player with greater comfort and manoeuverability and gives the instrument a sharper tone.

MOULDED RESONATOR POT FOR BANJO'S This invention relates to moulded resonator pot for banjo's.
Resonator boxes/pots fit to the back of banjo's & are always made of wood construction & have square edges which dig into the player.
According to the present invention there is provided around edged moulded resonator pot.
Comprising a glass fibre rounded edge resonator pot which can be fitted to any type of banjo, & bolts to the resonator flange with four bolt fixings.
The resonator can be painted or covered in leather cloth.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which; Fig 1 Shows side view of resonator pot.
Fig 2 Shows resonator pot fitted to a banjo.
Fig 3 Shows optical view of side & top.
Fig 4 Shows top view of resonator pot which shows four fixing brackets & cut out for banjo neck.
