Abstract
A gas fired grill comprises a bed of clay litag, a gas-air mixture being fed into the bed from a duct embedded therein. The mixture permeates through the bed to the surface where it ignites. A secondary air supply may be introduced into the bed through a metal mesh on which the bed is supported.
Description
Clay Flame Grill Ref : FG 1 Background
Existing gas fired kebab grills use a gas burner heat source within an enclosure and a cover plate above the burner to avoid oil blockage.
This cover plate can be in the form of metal bars to glass pyrex domes. Housed above it could be a bed of Lava stones. So you have a heat source at the bottom of the cover plate and Lava stones the fire filters through these beds and thus producing a heat source to cook upon.
I developed this product to help the Kebab grill business in obtaining a perfect and constant heat source with no fear of blockage of the gas burner jets as is common in traditional gas fired kebab grills.
It is relatively cheaper to produce and sell and lighter in construction.
The Clay Flame Grill has a low smoke emission.

Claims (1)
- Claims I believe that my invention called the Clay Flame Grill has the unique properties, which stands out from the existing kebab grills on the market.My Clay Flame Grill is unique in such that the gas mixing chamber is external to the box where the gas and air mixture fills up the cavity between the external frame and interior hollow where a set of tubular gaskets running across the central well. These gaskets have got slits at intervals at the base. This central well is filled in with lightweight Clay Litag. A secondary air supply is introduced by a ventilated metal mesh fixed at the bottom of the bed as shown on details C in drawing No. 01. The gas and air mixture permeates through to the surface where it ignites thus cooking the meat, fish and vegetables suspended over it. The oil drippings from the cooking food (meat, fish, or vegetables) falls through the Clay Litag to the bottom of the internal well where a tray is positioned to drain away when necessary.
