Abstract
The security system comprises a suitable length of box section steel 1 with two or more holes 2 and captive nuts 5, that when placed under a shed, offers a secure fixing for security eye bolts 4. The eye bolts 4 are screwed into the threaded nuts until they are screwed to the end of the thread length. Further screwing then forces the nuts 5 to break free from the box section allowing the eye bolts 4 and nuts 5 to rotate freely. The items to be secured can then be attached or tethered to the security eye bolts 4 using a chain or plastic coated security braided wire.

Shed Under floor security System. The invention relates to a security device designed for the security of item's stored in a shed. Sheds are notoriously difficult to secure owing to the lightweight construction of doors slides & windows. Garages often use anchor bolts in the concrete floor, however a shed floor is often of a wood construction incorporated in the frame design therefore this style of application is unsuitable. According to the present invention design a steel box section is placed under the shed floor. Two security eyebolts (or more) are then passed through the shed floor and screwed into the locking nuts attached to the box section. The thread in the box section is a captive nut, which breaks free from the box section when the eyebolt is screwed home. The items to be secured can now be chained or locked to the securing eyebolts.

A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by the means of an example with reference to accompanying drawings in which, Figure 1) shows the security system in x-x section with a shed before fitting. Figure 2) shows the security eyebolts secured through the box section with the nuts free from the box section. Referring to the drawing, Box section (1) is laid under the shed floor (3). The security eyebolts (4) are placed through the shed floor (3) to align with the holes (2) in the box section (1).
The eyebolts are the screwed into the threaded nuts until the eyebolts are screwed home which then forces the nuts to break free from the box section (1). This makes removing any items from the eyebolts very difficult without lifting the shed onto its side, which would obviously make a lot of noise and attract attention. Figure 2) shows threaded nuts (5) in the free position. Figure 3) Shows threaded nuts in the free position.

Claims (2)
- Claims 1) A steel box section (1) that when placed under a wooden shed floor (3) will give a suitable fixing for the security eyebolts (4) when preliminary clearance holes have been drilled through the shed floor.
- 2) When the security eyebolts (4) are screwed to the end of the thread length, the captive nut (5) then breaks away from the box section (1), and both the security eyebolt and captive nut (5) will rotate freely. Making removal of any items very difficult.
