Abstract

236,228. Linget, A. P. June 26, 1925. Emergency power cut-off gear.-A plate 3 suspended from the cage by shock-absorbing devices 1 is provided at its centre with a rod 9 which is moved towards the cage when the plate 3 encounters an obstruction and by pushing in the stud 12 of a switch 11 breaks the circuit of the hoisting motor. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a modification in which the switch breaks the circuit of a motor closing the supply or exhaust in a hydraulicallyactuated lift. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
