Abstract

236,015. Bliss, J. May 22, 1924. With pistons for protecting surface of contents. -A grease container 1 is provided with a nipple &c. 4 to which the delivery end of a grease gun may be attached so that, on withdrawing the piston grease flows from the container into the gun. A piston 3 in the container follows the grease under atmospheric pressure, and may have an aperture 6 sealed by a cover 7 on removing which the gun may be filled by placing the open end over the aperture and forcing the piston 3 into the container.
