235,992. Crocker, S. H. April 17, 1924. Kinematograph apparatus. -The gate or film holder of apparatus having means for moving the film edgewise and lengthwise is constructed so as to produce a curvature of the film transverse to its length. As shown, a gate 5 with a curved surface presses the film into a channel 3 between side pieces 2. The film is moved edgwise by a wheel 8 against the action of a bar 7 pressed by springs 6 and a frame 9 is connected to the bar 7 so as to move. with it and keep in vertical adjustment with the film edges. Specification 187,005 is referred to.
