Abstract

A bed designed to enclose and protect the occupant during an earthquake has the dome shape shown in Figure 1. The bed has a lower mattress and a second upper mattress located above the occupant to provide further protection. The bed frame may be made of metal and may be provided with a warning earthquake sensor and alarm, oxygen reserve, water, and a locator.

Description

2359481 -P Anti-earthquake secure bed This invention relates to
anti-earthquake secure bed.
1 Earthquakes are very dangerous and vital natural disaster. It is wellknown fact that earthquakes are more A ' tal and disastrous during the evenings, nights and midnight and early mornings than the daytime. In another words just when people are at home. When they have leisure, free time when they sleep or when they just at home. In our times it is hard, even maybe impossible to know and predict where, when, by which strength will be an earthquake thus we are suffering from earthquakes so much. And only thing we have to try is to minimise number of victims by easy to realise way such as minimise victims number in certain places, for instance, at home. Or when they are sleepin,-,, not sleeping but in bed not in bed but nearest and safest place to escape is anti-earthquake secure bed when earthquake is happening. It will help people to survive from earthquakes if they were at home, in beds or nearest and safest way was to go to Anti-earthquake secure bed. In our days the most of the world population live in old, non-standard, multi-stored big buildings which are very dangerous (sensitive to earthquakes) during earthquakes. Even standard, new buildings can not -ive us a hundred percent guarantee of safety. Recently happened strong earthquakes in Japan, Taiwan, turkey showed and proved us, as rule, most of the people who died or suffered were living in multi-stored, old and non-standard buildings. Maybe because of global warming number of earthquakes increasing and maybe will increase in the future. Most of people became victims of earthquake while they were sleeping or were in bed. Or were trying to escape from the buildings, houses when they felt first quake of earthquake. As rule there were no secure places or nothing to protect them from earthquakes and they only one way- to runaway, leave or escape from the buildings, houses by the nearest exits. Unfortunately next quakes happen a few seconds in most cases people do not have enough time to leave up, because as I have already mentioned most people in our time live in big, multi-stored buildings. And it is difficult to leave building by exits because of shocked crowd they do not allow each other to escape. And that is why the most people die under the stairs, walls, ceilings where crowd closures take place. Unfortunately they couldn't survive in most cases, they could not leave the leave the buildings even reach the exits, their escaping fail in the halfway. The people spend most of time at home that is why it is too important to house Anti-earthquake secure bed to their homes.
Anti-earthquake secure bed will built from persistent metals or other materials and will look-like spiders-web. Important features of antiearthquake secure bed from all other well-known ordinary, double beds is it has its own anti-earthquake protective dome shaped frame size configuration to extend over and beneath the person therefore secure him from earthquakes. Main differences of Antiearthquake secure bed from double-decker beds are it is not intended to place anyone on the top, it has not top bedheads and it has not legs it will have vault, dome shaped, spiders-web like design to avoid from the direct fall of ceilings, roofs, columns, stairs, walls or its own direct fall into the ground or other dangerous objects in case of strong earthquake. It is also possible if we attach to it sensor of earthquake with signalisation, alarm system, reserve of oxygen, water and finder of it. It is well-known fact that in most cases some people who were survived from earthquakes have to spend several times under the falls of buildings, houses until they were found or they escape by their own. That is why we need special attachments. Depending from customers we can vary size, design, materials. Moreover it will have top and ground mattresses, which has its own protective function in case of beds crash it will serve as a second protection unit. It has free access to get into and to leave out by four sides.
Specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with references to accompanying drawing. in which:Figure 1 shows in perspective, the full equipped Anti-earthquake secure bed with its all other components. Figure 2 shows in perspective, the skeleton of antiearthquake secure bed (in this case ordinary steel).

Claims (6)

Claims
1) Anti-earthquake secure bed, which has its own dome-shaped secure configuration is intended to secure the person who is in Anti-earthquake secure bed at the moment when the earthquake is happening.
2) Anti-earthquake secure bed has a special dome-shaped configuration to avoid direct fall of dangerous components of the house such as ceilings, roofs, walls into it, thus has a domeshaped vault design, thus saving the person who got into it thus surviving.
3) Anti-earthquake secure bed also intended to avoid direct fall of it into the dangerous objects, such as falling directly into the ground, therefore saving the person who was inside it at the moment when earthquake was happening.
4) It is also possible and useful if we attach such extra equipments like earthquake sensor, alarm of earthquake, reserve of oxygen, bed finder in case when we are not able to determine its location under the ruins of crashed buildings.
5) Anti-earthquake secure bed has a special top and lower mattresses, which has its own saving function to save the people in case, when frame of Anti-earthquake secure bed crashed. The mattresses will serve as a second protection unit.
6) Anti-earthquake secure bed will have dome-shaped, vault secure configuration with frames built from durable materials. In this case just typical steel.
Amendments to the claims have been filed as follows Claims 1. Anti-earthquake secure bed a special design of bed with vault design to protect people from earthquake, while they are at home. 2. A vault design claimed in claim 1 is the bed, built from persistent materials to protect fall of or fall into dangerous objects. 3. A special design claimed in claim 1 is special design calculated to place person inside it while avoiding dangers, or at least minimizing dangers.
