DESCRIPTION
Adjustable Picture Hook The invention relates to a picture hook of the type which allows picture hanging height to be adjusted once the hook has been affixed to the wall.
Conventional picture hooks which are just affixed to a wall with no means of adjustment are very inflexible with regard to picture height. Once the picture hook has been affixed and the picture is placed upon it the height of the picture from the ground may appear to be wrong. To adjust the height with a conventional hook you need to either remove the hook from the wall and re-site it which damages the wall or adjust the picture wire. Picture wire suffers from metal fatigue if moved too much.
This invention allows for the height of the hook to be quickly raised or lowered without the need to re-site the hook or make adjustment to the wire.
The picture hook should be made from metal or plastic A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawing in which:
Drill hole in wall Fit "wallplug" device in hole flush with wall. Pass correct size screw through outer plate and hook and screw tight into"wallplug". Hang Picture Should picture height require adjustment Slacken the screw 2 mm. Raise or lower hook to the desired position. Tighten screw to secure position of hook. Position of hook will be secured a teeth on hook locate to those in outer plate )J

- Adjustable Picture Hook I. A picture hook including a toothed sliding bar which allows the hook height to be easily adjusted once the picture hook has been affixed to the wall.
