Abstract

The weight is shaped with a main body having wings moulded into a delta shape and a tail fin. The wings give lift leading to a correct flight and glide when cast. The underside of the weight has a wire running the length of the main body to which a clip or a fishing line may be attached.

2351641 DELTA WINGED FISHING WEIGHT THE WEIGHT IS SHAPED WITH A FUSELAGE
BODY AND WINGS MOULDED IN A DELTA WING SHAPE WITH A TAIL FIN.
THE WINGS HAVE A TRUE AEROFOIL SECTION TO GIVE LIFT AND A CORRECT FLIGHT AND GLIDE CHARACTERISTIC WHEN CAST.
THE UNDERSIDE HAS A WIRE RUNNING THE FULL LENGTH FROM NOSE TO TAIL TO WHICH THE CLIP AND FISHING LINE ARE ATTACHED.AS ILLUSTRATED AT (I.) 1 CLAIMS
1. A fishing weight with wings of a true aerofoil section in a streamlined, swept or delta shape with a fuselage shaped body and a tail fin.
2. A fishing weight as in claim 1. with a semicircular groove running the full length of the underside of the fuselage shaped body and a heavy duty wire running the full length of the groove looped at both ends and molded into the nose and tail of the body.
