Wood-block flooring. -The adjacent blocks a are connected by staple-like fasteners d, of which the ends d<1> enter grooves b formed in the underside, of the blocks and the bodies lie in aligned notches c of adjacent blocks. The notches c extend from the grooves b to the adjacent sides or ends of the blocks, and all the notches and grooves are formed in the blocks prior to laying in position.
