Abstract

A kit for preparing formula baby milk comprises i) a motorised electrical base unit driving rotatable grooves; ii) a plastic mixing jug releasably mountable on the base unit, the jug including attachable high speed mixing blades drivable by the grooves when the jug is placed on the base unit, and a lid; iii) a funnel for sifting powdered formula milk into the jug, the lid of the jug including a flip top mechanism for allowing the funnel to be inserted therein; and iv) two transparent plastic cups of different sizes graduated for scoop measurement.

Description

2350068 This invention relates to a mixing devise designed for formula
baby milk.
This mixing machine will allow baby formula milk and hot water to be mixed thoroughly into a smooth consistency allowing it to pour/to be sucked smoothly through a bottle teet as effectively as if the bottles were made up individually.
Thorough mixing is produced by a network of high-speed blades which are attached to the base of the mixer.
The box unit on which the mixer stands, holds the electrical unit in a compact and safe unit, with a cord and 13amp-fuse plug attached.
This unit rotates the blades at the base of the mixer via interacting grooves that interlock when the mixer is placed onto the unit.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which:
Figure 1 shows the mixer on top of the electrical unit.
Figure 2 illustrates the separation of mixer from electrical unit.
Figure 3 shows the two measuring jugs which are used to measure the formula' amounts in.
Figure 4 illustrates the fi=el, which is used on top of the mixing unit to allow slowleasy flow.
Referring to the drawing, the formula milk is scooped from the tin by the measuring cups. The transparent cups have numbered markers on the side (per scoop) enabling the correct amount of formula to be used.
The measuring jug has numbered measurements on the side (in fluid ounces) for the correct amount of hot (not boiling) water to be used. And powerful high speed blades which whisk the ingredients together. The mixer has a flip top middle section that lifts, to enable the ftmel to sit in the lid.
The formula milk is put into the finmel while the mixer is switched on, enabling the formula and water to be mixed to a smooth evenly distributed liquid.
When the milk and water have been thoroughly mixed together the mixture can be poured into sterilised baby bottles ready for consumption.
The jug, fi=el and two measuring cups can be cleaned in hot soapy water or in a dishwasher and can be sterilised in solution, boiling water or steam method.
This new process enables the user to prepare baby milk in a more efficient, safe, sterile envoirment and makes preparing formula feeds much quicker with this labour saving device.

Claims (4)

1 An electrical unit fixed inside the base stand, which supplies a 13amp current that rotates grooves at the top.
2 As unit is claimed in claim 1, where the electrical unit is used to rotate the grooves, these grooves are interlocking when the mixer is placed onto the unit.
3 As claimed in claim 1 or claim 2 when the grooves are interlocking and the electrical unit switched on the grooves rotate the high speed blades.
4 As claimed in claim 3 the high speed blades are detachable and encased in a mixerjug.
The materials this would be made from are - hard and soft heat resistant Plastic and metal.
Amendments to the claims have been filed as follows Claim A kit for preparing formula baby milk comprising:- i) a motorised electrical base unit driving rotatable grooves; ii) a plastic mixing jug releasably mountable on the base unit, the jug including attachable high speed mixing blades drivable by the grooves when the jug is placed on the base unit, and a lid; iii) a ftmel for sifting powered formula milk into the jug, the lid of the jug including a flip top mechanism for allowing the funnel to be inserted therein; iv) two transparent plastic cups of different sizes graduated for scoop measurement.
