Abstract
An exercise apparatus for fixing to a wall comprises a substantially rectangular panel, a belt, and two metal rods (fig 6). The belt, which can have looped ends, can be secured to the panel by passing the looped ends though holes in the panel and using the two metal rods which cannot fit through the holes to anchor the belt to the panel (fig 2A). The panel can then be screwed to the wall, and the exerciser's feet can be retained by the belt during various sit-up exercises. One U-shaped belt may be used for each foot. The panel may have five pre-drilled, countersunk holes for the screws. The apparatus may be of metal, plastics or wood to match furniture in a room, and can be used to strengthen abdominal muscles, hips, buttocks and thighs.
Description
2349831 Body Exerciser The invention relates to a tone and shape body
exerciser, which will prove to be an amazing invention in the way that it will tone and shape your body. The tone and shape body exerciser consists of a belt and five screws and two metal rods. Its structure is obviously unique in its own way as the rectangular panel (which can be made of wood, metal or plastic) just needs to be fmnly screwed to a solid wall, hence you never need to move it or store it away. For convenience, the tone and shape body exerciser can also be manufactured in the form of two "U" shaped belts for each foot. However, for safety aspects it is preferred for one V shaped belt to be used to exercise more comfortably and to achieve maximum results.
The object of this invention is to help you to tone down and strengthen your abdominal muscle, hips, buttocks and tones thighs whilst at the same time reduces body fat. For the abdominal exercise you will need to lie down on the floor at a ninety-degree angle from the wall. Keeping legs parallel to the body exerciser, hook both feet into the belt making sure your buttocks touch the base of the wall. Bend your upper body towards your knees as far as you can, maintain this position for 30 seconds after which relax and then repeat this procedure. For the abdominal, thigh, hip and buttock exercise you will need to lie down on the floor at a ninetydegree angle from the wall. Keeping legs parallel to the body exerciser, hook both feet into the belt. Bring knees toward your body, which will lift your buttocks from the floor, at the same time bend the upper body towards the knees as far as you can, maintain this position for 30 seconds after which relax than repeat procedure.
Health and beauty have become major factors in the lives of many people as such body exercisers are well known but suffer from the disadvantage that they have to be taken out and be assembled before you can do your exercise as well as having to store it away in a cupboard or underneath a bed or put away in a corner or hence they are too bulky and waste storage space.
Another quality of this invention is that it is preferred that the tone and shape body exerciser is made of metal or plastic material but it may be made form wood to match the furniture of a room or from a combination of these materials.
Preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawing.
I I 'I Bod-v xerciser Figure I shows a front view panel of the body exerciser. Which shows five predrill and countersunk screw holes for hanging the body exerciser on to the wall. There are two slots 57mm long x 5mm width for the belt too past through.
Figure 2 shows a back view panel of the body exerciser. Which shows five predrill screw holes and the two 57mm x 5mm slots.. Where it has a groove of 140mm long x I I mm width by I Omm depth.
Figure 2A shows the belts which is coming through slot which is held by the rod, where the rod will sit firmly in the groove. As shown in figure six.
Figure 3 show a three-dimension view of the body exerciser, shows a side and front view panel. Detail five predrill countersunk screw holes and two slot 57mm long x 5mm width.
Figure 4 shows the side view panel of the body exerciser 30mm width x 500mm height Figure 5 shows a sketch of the belt, 660mm length x 48mm width which has been stitched back each ends by 50mm to allow the metal rods to go through.
Figure 6 sketch of the metal rods 140mm length x7mm diameter.
Figure 7 shows the complete result of the body exerciser firmly screwed on the wall.
