Abstract

A portable golf stance practice aid comprises main strip 4, a target direction strip 6, a ball positioning strip 5, and a foot positioning strip 3, all the strips being pivotable with respect to each other and having slotted connections to allow relative sliding movement, eg to adjust for different choice of clubs as indicated by linear scales on strips 3, 4. Holding covers 1, 2 maintain the strips in a pack for carriage, eg in a golf bag; golf tees 10, 11, 12 can co-operate with holes (8), Figs 4 and 5 (not shown), to secure the aid in a chosen position to the ground, Figs 7 to 10 (not shown). The strip 3 can be pivoted with respect to strip 4 to give the stances for practice shots incorporating draw (Fig 9) and fade (Fig 10).
