Abstract

In a first embodiment (Fig. 1) mobile telephone holder comprises a case into which a mobile telephone can be slid, to maintain a hands free conversation, and means to support the case on a users head. In a second embodiment (Fig. 6) the head support is replaced be means to support the case on a users shoulder with a connecting plate. The case may have adjusters to securely hold the phone. The case can be positioned on the support at the required point by means of holes or slots and is rotatably connected so that it can be positioned for the users comfort. In a third embodiment the holder can be an integral part of a garment. The case, connecting plate and support are all separable. When not in use the phone can be removed from the support and kept separately. The invention will be useful to mothers dealing with children, drivers cyclists and others employing both hands while maintaining a conversation.

Description

MOBILE TELEPHONE HOLDER This invention relates to a mobile telephone holder.
Mobile telephone holders are apparatus to carry the transceivers at ease, without the need to hold them in the hand during use.. The holder maintins the telephone in a position with the receiving part placed covering the ear and the transmission part just outside of the speaker's mouth There are two variations in the construction of the telephone holder.: Variation number one, fig. 1, comprises a head band to which the telephone case is attached. The telephone is slid into the holder at the open end when it rings, or at anytime during the conversation.
The user may place the telephone into the case just after ringing or, as the call receiver, at any time before or during the conversation.. If desired the telephone can be left permanently in the case. Figure 4 shows the case which allows the key pad to be touched even when the telephone is inserted in the case.
The telephone case is attached to the head band by way of a screw or pivot, bolt or attachment of any sort at the back of the case. It may slide or go into some grooves or placed at the bottom of both lower ends of the band.
The telephone case can be detachable so that it can be used on both sides of the band The placement of the screws or grooves at either end of the head band facilitates the use of the telephone at either side of the head.
The case holding the telephone can rotate on its pivot or screw to accommodate it to the position described in the first paragraph so that the transmission and receiving parts of the telephone coincides with the ear and mouth It can also have adjusters on each side to hold the telephone tight in the case..
To reduce space for storage purposes the head band may be fitted with a couple of hinges 5 so that the band can be folded in three parts to reduce it to one third of its curvature size.
The second variation, fig. 6, is similar to variation number one but instead of the support being exerted on the head of the users it is attached on the shoulder.
It consists of a support, fig. 7, placed on the shoulder, be it a band in the form as the head band and placed across the shoulder or fitted as a demi-cup on top of the shoulder and part to the top ofthe arm.
This support has attached to its top a fixed piece into which the lower end of the plate, fig..8, holding the telephone is attached . At the upper end of the plate there is a screw. bolt, catch or similar means or grooves o screws 6 to which the telephone case is attached..
The plate as well as the telephone case, both rotate on their axles to facilitate the easiness of the users to accommodate them to their respective ears and mouths.
As an alternative to using a telephone holder placed on the shoulder or as a piece of head gear, the telephone holder could be an integral part of a garent, (e. g. a jacket's shoulder or sleeve), but in this case the plate should be adjusted or modified in order to bring the telephone closer to the user's ear and mouth.
Au \-anatibhs can be"used to either side'ot the tace when m operation.
A specific embodiment of the invention is now described of Variations number one and Two by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which : Figure 1 shows the telephone holder Variation One.
