Abstract

A carrier for ice cream cornets comprises a first generally planar elongate member B having a circular aperture D adjacent one end and a handle portion at the other end, and a second generally planar elongate member A having an aperture D adjacent each end and pivotally connected at its centre to the first member between the handle and the aperture. The members may be of plastic and that the pivoting may be provided by a nut and bolt connection.

Description

ICE CREAM CORNET CARRIER Description.
This invention relates to an adjustable, pocket,'ICE CREAM CORNET CARRIER : Made entirely from 3mm thick, sheet plastic, cut, moulded or extruded to scale drawing.
Separate main components A and B are to be mounted one on top of the other and bolted together by plastic nut and bolt E, to a sliding (scissor) torque, to allow the device to fold, as in FIG. 1, or to form a'clover' position, as in FIG. 2.
The position and location of the mounting hole in component B indicated by letter C, is crucial to forming the 'clover'position, to allow clearance between the inserted cornets.
As all cornets are tapered in structure it allows all holes in the carrier to be one size, in indicated D diameter...
'One size fits all'.
When not in use and closed, as in FIG. 1 the carrier can be tucked into waistband or pocket.
If two carriers are obtained the handles are sufficiently long to still be held in one hand, with 100% increase in carriage area, allowing free use of other hand for payment of cornets.

Claims (2)

  1. ICE CREAM CORNET CARRIER Claims.
    The purchase of one carrier will enable a person to carry safely and separately 3 ice cream cornets any reasonable distance from parlour to family, allowing one free hand to deal with payment.
  2. 2.
    The purchase of two carriers held in one hand will allow the comfortable carriage of up to 6 cornets.
    The device can be purchased as a'throw away item'or cleaned and kept for further use, as and when required.
