Abstract

A dual purpose air freshener 1 having an aerated base 2 shaped to fit a bath/sink plughole 6 and an aerated top section 3. Section 4 contains a fragrant substance which is circulated in the surrounding area by the natural draught 7 from the waste pipe system 5. The device further prevents spiders/insects from entering the bath <I>via</I> the plughole.

Description

DUAL PURPOSE AIR FRESHENER The invention relates to a dual purpose bathroom air freshener with an aerated plug shaped base and top section.
The object of this invention is to provide an air freshener that incorporates an effective method of preventing spiders/insects from entering the bath area via the waste pipe system while the bath is not in use.
This is achieved due to the aerated plug shaped base fitting snugly into the aperture of the baths plughole.
An essential feature of the invention is the aerated plug shaped base and top section of the air freshener which allows the natural draught from the waste pipe system to pass through the air freshener causing the fragrance from the impregnated substance situated in the centre of the air freshener to rise and circulate throughout the surrounding area.
The product design and materials used could be varied to suit the manufacturers specifications and production methods, providing the aerated plug shaped base and top section were incorporated. An embodiment of the invention will now be shown with reference to the accompanying drawing.
