Abstract

234,174. Munckton, H. S., and Eugster, O. L. Feb. 20, 1924. Siphon bottles.-A porcelain-lined siphon-head is fitted with a tin-top valve 5 of ordinary construction and a disc 7 forming a seating for the valve and made of a non-elastic material other than porcelain such as bone, vulcanite, or lacquered or enamelled metal. The disc 7 is recessed as shown to receive a rubber washer 9 and the head 10 of the siphon tube; it may also be recessed above to receive a washer 11 or the washer may be placed on it without a recess as shown.
