Abstract

A wardrobe system which is categorised or filed using dividers for easy access. The weeks clothing may also be pre-planned by the use of organised clothes arrangers wherein accessories for the complete outfit may be kept and the day of the week may be indicated by adding an annotated bead to this arranger. This can be adapted for specialised use as with Braille. The dividers may also be adapted so that an insert may be added to indicate or exhibit categories of clothing. The clothes arranger (Fig 3) comprises a moulded back to support clothes and an open access pocket-like frontage for accessories. <IMAGE>

Description

ORGANISED WARDROBE SYSTEM This invention relates to an organised wardrobe system for home or specialised use.
To keep up with today's.lifestyle it is essential to be organised especially if time is limited.
The organised wardrobe enables items of clothing to be "filed" according to use and therefore gives easy access.
This also includes a daily system of clothing with complete outfit arrangers able to hold a complete outfit with accessories. Outfits may be pre-planned in this way and this item is especially useful for the elderly, partially sighted or blind where Braille can be used. A relative or friend may pre-plan clothes for throughout the week for the elderly blind or partially sighted, thus promoting independence.
This is also suitable for use in shops where various clothing items need to be separated for display.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figure 1 shows in perspective the organised wardrobe system for usual home use in a domestic wardrobe.
Figure 2 illustrates the detail of a single divider with printing and Braille adaptation.
Figure 3 illustrates the detail of a single complete outfit arranger.
Figure 4 illustrates the detail of a single divider adapted for shop use.
Figure 5 shows in perspective Figure 4 in shop use.
With reference to Figure 1, the organised wardrobe system comprises divider and complete outfit arrangers.
The clothes dividers have printing or Braille along each side (Figure 2) and can be made from plastic. These categorise the clothing for quick access (eg. sport, evening, work, leisure, cocktail etc,) Figure 3 shows how the system may involve a pre-planned wardrobe for the week. This arranger comprises a moulded back to adequately support clothes and an open access pocket-like frontage where accessories for a complete outfit may be stored until required. Adjoining this vessel two skirt hooks and a trouser rail are present.
Each arranger would also have a small annotated bead which is placed on the arranger indicating the clothes for a particular day.
This idea may be adapted for specialised use (eg. shop use) by the divider in Figure 4, where two H sections are added to either side and a card or other insert may be slotted in from the top. This may be used to exhibit a category of clothing, sale items or items of a particular price range.
