Abstract

A friction clutch driven plate (10) having a hub (11) with a flange (12) thereon and a friction facing carrier (14) including a carrier plate (18) mounted on the hub (11). Springs (15) housed in aligned apertures (16) (17) in the hub flange (12) and carrier plate (18) act to retain rotational movement between the hub (11) and carrier (14). The spring apertures (17) in the carrier plate each have flanged ends (31) which are formed integrally with the plate (18) and extend axially to present a wide surface for bearing against a spring end.
