Abstract

222,057. Kaufman, J. May 12, 1924. Money boxes; fittings, internal.-A box for a safety-razor outfit has a chambered, cover 11 hinged to one edge thereof and a horizontal partition 20 dividing the body 10 into a lower chamber 22 for the storage of coins and an upper chamber 21 for a safety razor and a packet of reserve blades; a removable block 25 fitted on the top of the partition is grooved at 27 to receive the handle of the razor 28 and at 26 to form a coin entrance slot leading to a hole 23 in the partition giving access to the chamber 22. A transverse partition 24 forms, with an extension 29 of the block, a space for the package of blades 30 and the head of the razor lies on the opposite side of the partition 24 with the, handle crossing it. A yieldable strip 31 of steel &c. is fastened to the block below the groove 26 to prevent aaccidental escape of coins from the chamber 22.
