Abstract

A waterproof wrist purse preferably made of flexible plastic material comprises a main body 1 for wearing on the wrist. The opening of the purse is releasably closed by interengaging ribbed and grooved strips 11 which can be tightly snapped to render the purse waterproof. During swimming, the purse is attached to the wrist by a band 2, which may be elastic or have two free ends joined by press-studs, buckle, or hook and loop type fasteners. <IMAGE>

Most people have had the experience that when they go swimming in the swimming pool or sea

they have to turn over their personal belongings to the custodians for the sake of security; and they cannot put their money in their swimming suit which are not waterproof, if they want to buy drinks or food, they have to take back their belongings from the custodians, this causing troubles to the custodians and making themselves unable to spend money at will. Such experiences are really troublesome.Besides, if swimming at seaside, it is q,te A long distance to take back the belongings from the custodians, it makes people much inconvenient, If leaving the belongings on the beach, it will need some one to take care of them, this will not only waste manpower, but also discourage the swimming interests.

If no body takes care of those belongings left on seaside they may be stolen. Such are the most troublesome problem at the swimming site. For eliminating such defects and solving the problem, the best way is to carry the money on person. In consideration of protecting the money from being wet in the swimming suit, it is the reason of our conception for this invention manufactured at low cost, with no hindrance to the swimming activities, being convenient and safe.

This invention relates to a waterproof wrist purse. As of its structure, the purse body and purse band ars made of flexible plastic material jointed by hot melting bonding for the purpose of protecting the paper money from getting wet by the waterproof property of the plastic material, thus achieving the multiple functions of bringing the money on person, without worrying about being lost, and using it conveniently.

The primary objectives of this invention are: (1) To provide a purse in structure of waterproof wrist type, not only for carrying the paper money as well as coins for small change in it, but also for the function of bering waterproof and with no hindrance to the body movements.

(2) To provide a kind of purse in strusture of waterproof wrist type, having a wrist type purse band to be connected by snap-sticking band (including ring and buckle), expanding band, buttoning band, and wrist-watch band, arbitrarily fixed according to the wrist size of the person, and used easily and safely.

(3) To provide a kind of purse in structure of waterproof wrist type, with the same size and volume as an ordinary wrist-watch, made of flexible plastic material, easy to carry and store, and at low manu facturing cost.

The upper opening of the purse is fitted with a plastic sealing band (11) by tightly buckling the convex Line or strip on one side to the concave gut or ditch so that'the purse is easily and tightly sealed for achieving the waterproof purpose. Again, purse bands (2) are made on both sides of the purse so that the purse can fixed on the wrist of the swimmer. It is easily and safely to carry, besides it will not affect the activities of the arm during swimming.

In addition to the purse body (1), plastic sealing band (11) and purse bands (2), a coin purse (3), especially for putting coins for small change in it, with a purse cover (31) attached on the top of the purse body (1). The purse cover (31) can be opened directly fo putting coins into it or taking out from it. It is quite convenient to the user.

Fig. 4 shows the various types of preferred embodiment of purse bads for this invention of waterproof writ purse. Those types include the wrist-watch band type (21), snap-sticking band type (22), buttoning band type (23), and expanding band type (24). All such purse bands can be arbitrarily fixed according to the wrist iz of the person. The easy and convenient applications are the distinctive characteristics of such purse bands, In smm.2rizing the above, the structure of this invention of waterproof wrist purse is a purse of wrist type to be carried at the swimming time for convenience and security, in addition, its waterproof property can nrevcRt the paper money from getting wet and avoid the worries of inconvenience and the losing of money. And the achievement af such practical progressiveness will certainly affirm the outstanding functions of this invention. It is justified to be the norm of the initiative invent.ion.

Claims

1. A kind of structure of waterproof wrist purse includes a purse body, a plastic sealing band, and a purse band. The purse body is in the central position.

The upper opening of the purse is fitted w-ith a plastic sealing band having a convex line or strip tightly bucked with the concave gut or ditch to seal the purse tightly. The purse bands on both sides of the purse body tie the purse on the wrist. Thus the purse is carried easily and safely, in addition, it is waterproof.

A purse comprising a water resistant purse body of pouch form having a mouth,sealing means, in the mouth comprising a first strip at one side engageable with a second strip at the opposite side to close the mouth and seal the purse body against ingress of water, and a wrist-band on which the purse body is mounted, the wrist-band being releasably securable on the wrist of a user.
