Abstract

Electromagnetic inrupters or buzzers especially suitable for use in wireless telegraphy comprise a trembler blade secured at both ends and a co-operating contact which can be adjusted longitudinally of the blade in order to vary the frequency of the buzzer. As shown in Fig. 2, the vibrating blade A is secured at one end by a screw B to a fixed bracket C and at the other end by a screw D to the yoke E of the bobbin F. The platinum contact G is carried by a spring H secured to the end of a threaded pin J provided with a knurled head K. The pin passes through a tapped block or nut L which can be moved parallel to the length of the blade A in a slot formed in the fixed bracket N and secured in the adjusted position by the knurled nut O. Adjustment of the contact transverse to the blade is provided by the head K.
