Abstract

In a device for transporting the abrasive powder of an installation for descaling the surface of rolled steel a reserve container (22) for the abrasive powder (2) is provided, the charging opening (23) of which is located below the end (24) of a conveyer (12) which is opposite to the end (13) of said conveyer located above an opening (8) for filling a chamber (1) with the abrasive powder (2) whereas the discharge opening (27) of the container (22) is located above a hopper (21) of a conveyer (16), the conveyer (12) having the possibility of reversing its movement in the opposite direction.
