Pulping engines. - In an arrangement for delivering materials borne or carried by a stream of air to any one of a series of pipes, such as is required for supplying disintegrated pulp or other board or material t'o any one of a series of beaters, a curved pipe c has one end swivelling in the and of a distributing main a. The other end d is coupled to a plate h rotatable about a spindle i. Pipes leading to the beaters are connected to rings e arranged on a plate f secured to the framing. The plate h may be rotated by a rope or chain drive in gear with a bevel wheel j. A dial plate may be fitted to indicate which beater is being supplied, and a catch bolt fitted to the plate f and entering a suitably disposed aperture in a ring around the plate h may be used to lock the arrangement, during working.
