Abstract

A thermally insulated enclosure such as an air handler housing is constructed of panels (10) having inner and outer skins (11, 12) separated by in situ foamed insulating material (13), and edge elements (14) having side flanges (16, 17) which provide vibration absorption and prevent thermal bridging at panel joints. Methods of joining the panels are also disclosed. <IMAGE>
