Abstract

A plastics coded card type key is used for operating furniture locks. In the embodiment shown, the card has a code formed by a pattern of holes which are read by a suitable decoder in the lock. The code may comprise the person's name. <IMAGE>

Description

PATENT TITLE: Plastic coded key cards for furniture TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION: The plastic coded key card is inserted into the transreceiver and the name of the person is confirmed by a reference name. The lock is fitted on the inside of the furniture and the card is inserted in the lock.
The card has a small hole on one corner to be put on a key chain or in the wallet.
SAFETY: Personalised names are used and are factory set.
