Abstract

227,600. Wincer, A. C. Dec. 15, 1923. Gaiters. - In leather gaiters for suspension springs having a felt or equivalent lining in combination with means for injecting grease, the lining 7 is cut so as to provide a passage 9 along the top of the spring and communicating lateral openings 11 extending down the sides of the spring. The lining is secured to the gaiter by marginal strips 8 and a grease cap 10 is provided. The gaiter is secured by lacing, and is provided with a raised boss 6 of separate material to cover the clip of the spring.
