Abstract

A lounge chair head pillow has two fabric flaps attached and can be placed over the back of a lounge chair. The pillow is held in place by the balanced weight of the flaps attached to it. <IMAGE>

Description

(PAL1EL A) LOUNGE CHAIR HEAD PILLOW This invention relates to a head pillow for a lounge chair.
Lounge chair head pillows are well known head rests situated at the back of a lounge chair. They are either attached to the chair at the time of the chair's manufacture or are in the form of a scatter cushion and placed behind the sitter's head.
Lounge chair head pillows have to be either attached to the chair back or, when loose, held in place by the sitter's head.
According to the present invention there is provided a lounge chair head pillow comprising of a fabric bag filled with a soft material, two flaps attached to the bag, with one flap situated above the bag and over the back of the chair with the other flap below the bag and resting against the back of the chair. The whole invention being held in place by the balanced weight of the flaps.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figure 1. - shows in front elevation the lounge chair head pillow with the two flaps attached.

Figure 3. - shows the lounge chair head pillow resting on the front and over the top of a chair back.
Figure 4. - shows a side view of the lounge chair head pillow resting on a chair as described in figure 3.

Claims (5)

  1. (PANEL B)
    CLAIMS 1 A lounge chair head pillow that is not permanently attached to a chair.
  2. 2 A lounge chair head pillow that is held in place on the back of a chair by its weight and the weight of the flaps attached to it against the chair cover.
  3. 3 A lounge chair head pillow that is adjustable due to the balanced weight of the flaps as described in claim 2.
  4. 4 A lounge chair head pillow that has an opening in the lining at the back of the pillow for easy removal of filling.
  5. 5 A lounge chair head pillow substantially as described herein with reference to figure 1-4 of the accompanying drawing.
