Abstract

A flexible ladder comprises two parallely spaced longitudinal flexible members (10) and a transverse series of parallely spaced, rigid tubular rungs (12). Each rung (12) is secured at or adjacent to each of the opposite ends thereof to the respective members (10) by a clip (18) extending internally between its ends. Each clip (18) has means at opposite ends to engage or be engaged by the members (10) in a secured manner. The members (10) are formed of strap lengths of a fibrous material having a high breaking strength, for example KEVLAR (RTM). Each rung (12) is provided with a pair of spacers (14) and near to each end to space the rung (12) from the outside of a wall (16) when in use. <IMAGE>
