226,977. Allen Hydrostatic Pump Syndicate, Ltd., and Boving, J. O. Jan. 4, 1924. Direct air pressure apparatus, automatic.-In liquid-raising apparatus of the kind described in Specifications 217,063 and 217,654, a continuous liquid conduit G is arranged between the two columns of containers C, C<x>, F, F<x>, and has valves G<1>, G<2> serving to connect one of each pair of containers with the portion of the conduit above it for discharge, and the other of each pair with the portion of the conduit below it for filling. The upper and lower liquid levels 1, 2 are connected by a continuous conduit E<1> provided with an automatic valve E for filling and emptying the operating chambers A, A<x>. The valves G<1>, G<2> are connected to the valve E so that, when the latter is reversed, the former are also reversed. Specifications 181,762, 182,412, and 227,242 are referred to in the Provisional Specification.
