Abstract

A mobile tool safe has wheels and an inset handle. The tools are stored in plastic stock boxes placed in the safe. The workman is then able to take out the stack boxes and place in a oar or van, which makes the weight of the tools bearable to the individual. The inset drop handle on top of the tool safe is for lifting the tool safe up or downstairs, over kerbs and muddy building sites when needed. External attachments are provided e.g. for a spirit level and plumbers' or carpenters' tools. An electric socket may be provided. <IMAGE>

Description

This invention relates to a mobile and static toolbox / safe.

Fig 1 Shows the tool safe in its entire form.

Fig 2 Shows right extemal view with special attachments for spirit level and plumbers scissor bending machine with adaption for carpenters rip saw if required.

All tools to be securely locked by a security pin fed from inside the safe though tools with a hole in the pin for a padlock.

1) Spirit Level.

NB 2) to be altered for Rip saw for carpenters.

Fig 3 Shows inside of recessed door to accommodate tools too large to fit into stack boxes inside main body. I.E. Large Hacksaw and Yankee screwdrivers.

NB the door is inset to accomodate large hand tools.

Fig 4 Shows main body of safe with 3 plastic stack boxes with a small vice on top. The vice is detachable and can be stored in the main body if required. The bolts securing the vice to the safe are coach type.

N.B.

The whole tool safe is riddled with holes for suitable fixing to walls or floors etc.

Claims (11)

Claims

1. A box mounted on 2 wheels which enables the device to be pivoted for easy movement and mobility.

TO BE OF VARIOUS SIZES TO SUIT VARIOUS TRADES.

2. A box mounted on 2 wheels as in claim (1) with a hinged security door.

3. A box mounted on 2 wheels as in previous claims, wherein a detachable vice is bolted to the top of box.

4. A box mounted on 2 wheels as in previous claims, wherein holes are drilled in the walls, top and bottom of box at random for secure anchoring to other fixtures.

5. A box mounted on 2 wheels as in previous claims, wherein brackets and cleats are fitted to accommodate plumbers scissor pipe bender, spirit level, with extra attachments for carpenters rip saw.

6. A box mounted on 2 wheels as in previous claims, with cleats on inside of hinged door for yankee screwdriver and large hacksaw.

7. A box mounted on 2 wheels as in previous claims, with inset double electrical socket (220 or 110 volts) as per requirement with electrical cable coiled around cleats on external rear of box casing.

8. A box mounted on 2 wheels as in previous claims, with tapered jaws underside of box for clamping doors for planing.

9. A box mounted on 2 wheels as in previous claims, with detachable drop handle.

10. A box mounted on 2 wheels as in previous claims, with recess handle on top of box housing.

11. A box mounted on 2 wheels as in previous claims, with plastic stacking boxes of various sizes to suit individual trades, placed inside of main box.
