Abstract

212,435. Foster, W. A. March 29, 1923. Luggage-carriers.-The front carrier or basketholder of a tradesman's bicycle is secured to the upper and lower head lugs by means of pairs of arms 10, 11 provided with tapered projections 14 adapted to fit into tapered sockets at the ends of pairs of arms projecting laterally from opposite sides of the head lugs, the projections being secured in the sockets by bolts passed through holes 16 in the projections 14. The arms 11 are of inverted-channel cross-section, and the projections 14 are inclined so as to be parallel to the head.
