Abstract

The device comprises a casing (1) within which is the treatment liquid dispenser (7), co-operating with a chamber (3) floodable by the flow of flushing water. At the start of flushing, the chamber (3) is flooded, a metered amount of treatment liquid is dispersed, and at the end of flushing the flooding water containing the metered amount of treatment liquid is flushed into the flushing pipe (9). The invention also relates to a method for adminstration of a pre-determined amount of treatment liquid to a water closet by operation of such a device. The operation of the device is such that a bacteriologically "clean" water closed is left for the next user.
