Abstract

By mounting four rollers in a mobile root crop harvester and letting them turn in the same direction or rotation with horizontal axles, and letting the first (17) and the third (19) rollers be built up of adjacent discs (22) with projections (24) of rubber mounted on an axle, while the second (18) and the fourth (20) rollers consist of metal cylinders with a spiral-formed carrier on their surfaces, an effective cleaning of the beet (8) can be achieved without the risk of stoppage by stones.
