Abstract

Optical-projection apparatus; colour screens.- A colour screen for use with a kinematograph or like projector comprises a single glass unit which has a continuous series of merging colours thereon and is detachably carried in a frame movable in guides by screw means; a repeating series of colours may be provided so that the projected colour cycle may be repeated without bringing the screen to its initial position. As shown, a colour screen 7 in a frame 8 is detachably secured in a frame 11 by catches 10, the frame 11 being provided with shoes 12 which are slotted to travel on guide bans 14, 15 carried by standards 2 secured to a base 1. A screw 5 having a handle 6 is mounted in bearings 4 on the standards and is engaged by a nut 16 connected to the frame 11. Protecting glasses may be provided on each side of the screen 7 one of which may be adapted to diffuse the light beam.
