Abstract

210,846. Evans, W. V. G. Nov. 4,1922. Nursery seats; adjustmemts.-In seats of the type having pivoted legs provided with intermeshing toothed sectors, a pin carried by a radial projection on one sector of each pair engages one of a number of recesses in a pivoted spring-controlled bar mounted in the underframe of the seat to lock the legs in their adjusted positon. In the form shown in Fig. 1 a member c substantially U-shaped in plan, has notches c<1> in its upper side, and pivots about one end, being held by springs V against the projecting pins F<2> carried by the radial arms F<1> on the toothed sectors b.
